Our Program
Kids' Place is a nonprofit after school education and enrichment program dedicated to providing academic support to low-income children through intensive tutoring and literacy programs.     

To grow up to be healthy and productive citizens, children need critical support and resources early in life to build a better future.  Those supports include:
  • Strong relationships with caring adults who act as mentors and volunteer tutors;
  • Safe environments with structured activities;
  • Curricular activities designed to improve core academic skills such as reading, math and communication skills;
  • Character development programs designed to develop each student's social and/or life skills including, but not limited to, skills related to communication, impulse control, and non-aggressive conflict resolution;
  • Opportunities to give back through community service and civic participation.
